We require a VERBAL CONFIRMATION of your appointment 48 HOURS in advance. If we have emailed you a confirmation, you are required to click on the link provided to confirm your appointment electronically OR CALL THE SALON TO CONFIRM. If we do not answer, please leave a message stating your NAME, THE STYLIST YOU ARE SCHEDULED TO SEE, THE SERVICE YOU ARE BOOKED FOR, DAY AND TIME OF APPOINTMENT AND THAT YOU ARE CONFIRMING.
If you do not confirm your appointment at least 48 hours in advance, your appointment will be cancelled by Texture & Gloss.
Please arrive to your appointment 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
Upon your arrival, please stay in your car and either:
- Call the salon at 781-383-0747
EG: “My name is Carolyn Cafferty and I am here for my 10AM appointment with Heather”
Texture & Gloss will CALL your cell phone when your stylist is ready for you. We may call from an unfamiliar number, please answer. You make book your next appointment during this call, otherwise you may call at a later date.
- Appointments will not be booked at our front desk for safety.
- Please do not enter the salon until your are directed to do so by an employee of Texture & Gloss.
Upon entering the salon:
- MASK IS REQUIRED, PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN MASK – (Mask must loop over the ears- not around the head) You are required to wear your mask during your time inside the salon.
- No one may accompany you at the salon.
- A Texture & Gloss employee with direct you to your stylist’s chair. Please stay seated until you are directed to relocate.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided.
- No water, coffee, tea or magazines will be provided during your service.
- We are limiting the use of our restroom, please come prepared.
You will have provided your credit card information during your pre-scheduling phone call. We will charge your credit card in order to reserve your appointment for the full amount due.
If you cannot make your appointment and do not provide the salon a MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS NOTICE, there will be NO REFUND, NO EXCEPTIONS.
We are working around the clock in order to service all of our clients in a very short window. Please understand that the schedule is a delicate balance and these appointments are hard to come by.
If you wake up feeling sick the morning of your appointment, please call the salon immediately. We will work with you to fit you back in to the schedule when you are better.
If other services are provided or you are purchasing products, we will add those purchases to the same card, the day of your appointment.
PRODUCT OVERAGE CHARGE – THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $25 AND UP TO YOUR COLOR/ FOIL APPOINTMENT DUE TO THE EXTRA PRODUCT AND TIME NEEDED DUE TO EXCESSIVE REGROWTH.
*exact amount will be determined by stylist upon arrival, if you are concerned about pricing it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ask your stylist about services costs at EVERY APPOINTMENT.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REMEMBER YOUR APPOINTMENT. IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIRMED, YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE CANCELLED BY TEXTURE & GLOSS.
Sanitation has always been our number one priority and is something we have trained extensively for throughout our careers; however, please understand that even though we are taking all precautions necessary to keep our clients and staff safe and healthy there is always a potential for risk.
These procedures are now standard at Texture & Gloss Hair Salon. If you have read and understand all the terms and procedures above, please respond to this email with the phrase “I have read the Texture & Gloss procedures and policies and I agree.”
