After graduating from Bates College with a BA in English, Carolyn decided to pursue a career in hairstyling. Training under one of the top salon owners in Newton, MA, Carolyn grew as an artist and as a professional. Since then, she hasn't looked back. With over 10 years experience in the beauty industry, Carolyn is a master colorist and stylist with an aesthetic that ranges from casual chic to elegant and sophisticated. Her devoted clientele rely on her for beautiful, fashion-forward cuts and color that are as easy to wear as they are to maintain. Carolyn's impressive longevity of success is based on her ability to listen and execute. She enjoys collaborating with clients, creating a unique look based on their bone structure, hair texture, and lifestyle. Christine is a master of her craft. A talented, conscientious stylist, Christine always brings her A-game and a warm smile. Ever since Miranda was a little girl she has always had a passion for hair. Miranda is a graduate of the Cosmetology Program at Toni & Guy. Miranda has been with Texture and Gloss for over a year and a half, starting as an assistant and working her way up to Stylist. She has been busy perfecting her color transformations and attending additional education through Goldwell. One of Miranda's main passions in hair is extensions, which has led her to become certified in Invisible Bead Extensions. Miranda's attention to detail and knowledge in color makes her excel in extensions. After graduating from Western New England University, Brooke pursued a career in Marketing and Communications. Always having a love of all things hair, she decided, life is short and you might as well live your dream. Brooke put herself through Cosmetology school while working full time and graduated with honors. She loves every minute behind the chair finally making the full transition into the industry. With Brooke's unique experience and passion comes a true dedication to the craft. Brooke loves all things weddings and special events! Updos, curls, blowouts, etc.
We sincerely appreciate confirmation of your appointments. As a courtesy, we call each client in an attempt to confirm your appointment. If you have provided us with your email address you will receive an email approximately 48 hours prior to your appointment from which you can easily confirm by simply clicking the link provided and confirm electronically. We also offer text confirmations. Please let the front desk know if you would like to opt-in for this service. Lastly, you can always call the salon and confirm your appointment. Confirmations allow us to fully support our stylists by filling in last minute gaps in their schedules and they really appreciate it.
We now require credit card information during your pre-scheduling phone call. If you cannot make your appointment and do not provide the salon with a MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS NOTICE, you will be charged in full for the appointment you scheduled, there will be NO REFUND, NO EXCEPTIONS.
We no longer require masks to be worn inside the salon, however should you feel more comfortable having your stylist wear one during your appointment, please just let us know, we are happy to accommodate you.
